What is this site?

My goal is to help teach others about people management—specifically, people management when one or both of the manager and direct report are remote.  Remote people management is harder than normal people management and there are exceedingly few good resources on the topic that don’t devolve into cheap platitudes or recycled garbage that you can find regurgitated eight different ways.

Go on, Google search: Remote Management. You’ll find multiple article listing the same list, “written” by different people and hosted on different sites. Some few are helpful, but many are not. Some are clearly written by someone who does not actually work or manage remotely!  

My goal is offer practical advice based on my own experience and to do it in a format longer than one paragraph.
